One Leverage: Redemption star has confirmed their return for season 3. A reboot of the 2008 show, Leverage: Redemption is a crime-heist series that follows the Hitter, the Hacker, the Grifter, and the Thief as they team up to take on a new villain. Leverage: Redemption began in 2021 and has aired two seasons so far.
In an exclusive interview with , actor Aldis Hodge confirmed his return for Leverage: Redemption season 3. When asked about his return to the series, Hodge responded “I guess the cat's out of the bag on that one, yeah.” Hodge further clarified that he “just finished some work,” confirming his appearance on Leverage: Redemption season 3. I guess the cat's out of the bag on that one, yeah. Leverage, that's near and dear to my heart. I started that show in 2006 or 2007, something like that. Love the crew, love the audience. For me, it really is just fun, and honestly, I'm really grateful to be able to come back to something like that. And just to come and play, it's easy breezy. I got a lot of love for Leverage. In fact, I just finished some work. I came back maybe like a week ago.
Leverage: Redemption Is Going Through Some Changes In Season 3
Hodge plays Alec Hardison in Leverage and Leverage: Redemption, who is a hacker in the series. While Hodge does reprise his role in Leverage: Redemption, he has appeared less in the reboot than in the original series. In Leverage: Redemption season 2, Hodge’s character had to be written off part way through the season due to the actor’s increasingly busy schedule. This led to doubt that Hardison would appear in Redemption season 3, so Hodge’s confirmation is somewhat surprising.
While Leverage: Redemption season 3 was confirmed, things are going to look a little bit different in the upcoming season. The primary change will be in the streaming platform, as Redemption will transition from being on Freevee to Prime Video. This shift is a big move for Leverage: Redemption, as Prime Video will give the series a chance at far more exposure.
While Hodge will be returning for season 3, the capacity in which his return will manifest remains to be seen.
